Our Mission
From the moment children come into the foster care system to the time they reunite with biological families or are matched with adoptive homes, the goal of Fostering Family Hope is to help provide them with basic essentials, encourage the growth of positive relationships within the children’s family circles, and offer ongoing emotional support for their families. We meet the needs of our local foster community through care bags, our foster closet, special events, foster & adoptive family support groups, and the enrichment of family visitation areas throughout Connecticut.
Our Vision
We envision a community which embraces the whole family circle, supports the physical and emotional needs of children in care and beyond, and in which every child feels firmly rooted in family and is empowered to know their worth.
