We've had such a great summer and hope you have too! Read below to learn more about what we've been up to and what we're looking forward to next.

This summer we had lots of family time, took vacations, played at the beach, visited playgrounds, and ate lots of ice cream! And we saw some of you too at our Foster Closet in Wallingford! We also spent some time thinking about our next steps at Fostering Family Hope and are excited about a new season of impact!

COLLEGE PACK-A-PALOOZA!

In July, we packed 50 boxes for youth in foster care going off to college or going into a trade. Keith McGilvery - the Good News Guy - joined us to spread the good news! This sweet send-off helps remind these young adults that they are loved and supported during this exciting transition.

 

BACK-TO-SCHOOL EXTRAVAGANZA!

Our annual Back to School Extravaganza was a success! Despite the sweltering heat, around 300 people joined us on Sunday, August 9th in Middletown to receive backpacks and school supplies. There was also face painting, a book mobile, delicious food, and lots of trucks to explore! Thank you to all who donated and supported this incredible event!

We are so excited to announce that we've found an ever bigger and better space to serve the local foster care community! We will be moving to a new location in Wallingford at the end of August and would appreciate your support.
