At Fostering Family Hope, we believe that every child and family impacted by Connecticut's foster care system deserves more than just the basics—they deserve to feel valued, respected, and cared for. That belief is at the heart of our newly launched Expansion Campaign: A Bigger Space. A Bigger Impact.

Whether you have connected with Fostering Family Hope through our Foster Closet, Community Groups, care bags, volunteer opportunities, or other work in the community, or simply followed the work we are doing for children and families across Connecticut, you have seen the heart behind what we do. We are grateful to have you as part of our community, and we are excited to invite you to be part of the next chapter of that work.

After outgrowing our current small rental space, we are excited to move into a larger location that will allow us to serve more children and families throughout Connecticut. Our new space will allow us to expand our Foster Closet, increase our inventory, welcome more volunteers, improve storage, and create an even more welcoming, boutique-style experience for the children and families we serve.
Now, we need our community's help to make this vision a reality.

Our free FFH Boutique provides clothing, shoes, toiletries, baby items, comfort items, teen essentials, and new toys at absolutely no cost. We also deliver care bags filled with necessities to children and youth entering foster care throughout the state. With this expansion, we are creating a beautifully designed, fully stocked boutique where children, teens, and families can shop with dignity and choose the items they need in an environment that feels warm, welcoming, and special.

We have set a goal of raising $50,000 to support the expansion of FFH and the many ways we serve children and families. We have created Family Partner and Hope Partner sponsorship levels, each connected to a specific need or meaningful area of our work. Gifts can provide essentials for a child, like pajamas, toiletries, diapers, and seasonal clothing, while larger gifts can strengthen our regional Community Groups, provide education and training for caregivers, keep the FFH Boutique open, or transform DCF visitation rooms into warm, welcoming spaces where children and families can spend meaningful time together.

Businesses can support the campaign through a financial sponsorship, an in-kind donation of needed items or services, or by sponsoring a specific area of our new space or programming. Every gift has a purpose—and every gift creates a bigger impact.
